Plus Punkt

A treatment station that makes a cardiology check-up feel less like a procedure.

Client
Cardio Center Lucerne
Role
Concept & object design
Date
June 2026
Outcome

Placeholder — name the measurable outcome here (waiting-time felt, patients served, cost saved).

Placeholder — treatment chair and side stool in a clinical setting

I design micro-environments that give a clinical space a human register.

Placeholder text. Describe the brief here: what the client came with, what the real problem turned out to be, and what constraint shaped the outcome.

Placeholder text. Walk through the process — the research, the models, the decisions you argued for. Two or three paragraphs is enough.

Liquid Light

A charging station read as landscape rather than infrastructure.

Client
Academic project, HSLU
Role
Concept & spatial design
Date
2026
Outcome

Placeholder — the outcome in one measurable line.

Placeholder — charging station with a flowing canopy roof at dusk

Infrastructure is where most people meet design without noticing it.

Placeholder text. Set up the site and why it mattered — what is there now, who passes through, and what the station has to do beyond charging cars.

Placeholder text. Explain the spatial move: the canopy, the light, the way the structure sits in the park. Keep it to the decisions a visitor would feel.

Vena Nova

Circulation redrawn so the building explains itself without signage.

Client
Placeholder client
Role
Experience strategy
Date
2025
Outcome

Placeholder — e.g. signage reduced by half, wayfinding questions down at the desk.

Placeholder — interior with curved planted dividers and warm wood

A plan that reads clearly needs far less signage than one that does not.

Placeholder text. Describe what was failing about the existing circulation and how you found it out.

Placeholder text. Describe the intervention and what it cost to build versus what it saved.

Hush, Little Baby

A speculative exhibition on what we automate when we automate care.

Client
Self-initiated
Role
Concept & curation
Date
2025
Outcome

Placeholder — visitor numbers, press pickup, what the discussion shifted.

Placeholder — blurred field of coloured light

Speculative work is how you argue about a future while it is still cheap to change.

Placeholder text. Set out the provocation and why it is worth staging as an exhibition rather than a paper.

Placeholder text. Describe the pieces, the route through the room, and the reaction you got from visitors.

VJ Festival

One visual system stretched across stage, screen and street.

Client
Placeholder client
Role
Art direction
Date
2024
Outcome

Placeholder — reach, engagement lift, what the identity made possible.

Placeholder — halftone light pattern on black

A festival identity has to survive being printed badly and projected at night.

Placeholder text. Describe the identity and the constraint that shaped it.

Placeholder text. Describe how it held up in production and what you would change.

Grosses Angebot für die Kleinsten

A health campaign that parents actually read in a waiting room.

Client
Placeholder client
Role
Concept & illustration
Date
2024
Outcome

Placeholder — distribution, pickup rate, the measurable lift in the analytics.

Placeholder — illustrated health campaign posters

Information only counts as delivered once somebody has read it standing up.

Placeholder text. Describe the audience and where the material had to work.

Placeholder text. Describe the tone decision and how it tested.

Making something look good has never been enough for me.

I’m Sabrina Ritz, a strategist who happens to be able to build anything — with taste.

I want to know why it needs to look that way at all.

I’m Sabrina Ritz (*2003), based in Zurich, trained Mediamatikerin / Media Technologist, now a BA Spatial Design student at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

Before Spatial Design, I spent two years as a Lead Designer on cross-departmental projects for Stadt Zürich. From family-services campaigns to experience-driven projects like the VBZ Wein-Tram, I was reaching thousands of people monthly, each with a measurable lift in the numbers. I worked directly with the Zurich City Council within months of finishing my apprenticeship, leading across departments with competing priorities to get high-stakes work actually shipped. What that actually taught me: a carefully crafted visual message can only carry a system so far. The real leverage sits further upstream. I got tired of patching from the outside — so I went to fix it from the inside.

I can’t look at one thing without seeing what it’s tangled up in. Before I commit to a direction, I’ve usually already traced what it sets off three moves later. The macro matters to me as much as the micro — the system, the incentives, the context. That’s why I stay with a project end to end: concept, workshop, pitch, execution. Whatever the problem actually needs, because the format should follow the idea, not the other way around. I’m a strategist who happens to be able to build anything — and with taste.

I’m interested in the full spectrum of how space treats people, from the overlooked to the everyday. On one end: spaces built for people society would rather not look at, like Zurich’s Kontakt- und Anlaufstellen or the Dutch dementia villages, where the environment is redesigned around the person instead of the stigma. On the other: the small details that quietly make an airport or transit system feel human rather than just functional — crowd flow, safety, extravagant details that elevate an ordinary interaction. Space is rarely neutral; it shapes how people experience both crisis and everyday life. That range is deliberate. Solving something real matters to me, but meaningful and fancy don’t have to be opposites.

Design, for me, is a catalyst; the thing that gets a better system moving. Underneath all of it is a fair amount of love — I don’t know how to do this work halfway.

Things to expect when working with me

  • I stay end to end

Concept, workshop, pitch, execution. The format follows the idea, not the other way around.

  • Macro and micro at once

Before I commit to a direction I have usually traced what it sets off three moves later.

  • Intentional & measurable

City campaigns reaching thousands monthly, each with a measurable lift in the analytics.

  • Accessibility is the baseline

Barrier-free brand identities and user-centred research are the standard I start from, not an extra.
